L'Olympe de la Marinière transforms the rooftop and 24th floor of Madrid's Torres Blancas into a conceptual sanctuary dedicated to Jean Paul Gaultier. The intervention combines the building's Brutalist architecture with the brand's theatrical and avant-garde identity through a curved polished-steel envelope inspired by the iconic perfume bottles, creating a dynamic architectural skin around the space.

The interior is organised across three levels, integrating a cocktail area, exhibition and pop-up spaces, technical services and backstage facilities. The existing pool becomes the centrepiece of a theatrical runway, featuring a transparent plexiglass catwalk over water and a monumental deconstructed corset sculpture. Polished steel, exposed concrete, plexiglass, metal mesh and deep blue and red velvet establish a material dialogue between industrial mass, transparency and haute-couture aesthetics.

Conceived as an ephemeral intervention in Paris, the JW Anderson Pop-Up draws inspiration from mid-century French industrial architecture, reinterpreting the archetype of twin gabled pavilions into a contemporary retail dialogue. The project establishes an immersive threshold between nostalgia and maturity, juxtaposing artisanal playfulness with rigorous formal minimalism across two interconnected volumes measuring approximately 12 × 8 metres each.

The design unfolds as an architectural duality: an opaque, textured pavilion—clad in modular metal panels and handcrafted crochet detailing with organic, playful perforations—connects directly to an upper mezzanine and a fully glazed greenhouse structure. Inside the transparent volume, garments are suspended directly from the ceiling grid, freeing the ground plane to ensure unobstructed sightlines and a sense of weightlessness. A restrained material palette of brushed steel, expansive glass panes, natural textile weaves, and minimal wooden counters balances raw structural honesty with refined haute-couture simplicity.

Developed within the historic and geographical landscape of Tamnougalt, Morocco, this spatial exploration operates within a strict cubic volume of 7 × 7 × 7 metres, reinterpreting vernacular earthen architecture through an unapologetic Brutalist ethos. Inserted as a vertical infill within the dense adobe fabric of the ancient ksar, the module engages directly with its extreme desert environment, negotiating climate, mass and void through elevated structural solutions on reinforced concrete pilotis.

The material strategy bridges industrial raw honesty with regional context, employing textured cast concrete, Corten steel framing and local lime plaster juxtaposed with rich mahogany and oak louvres that act as contemporary solar screens (mashrabiya). Across vertical mezzanines and open-air decks, the project delivers a compact, climate-responsive refuge within the density of the ksar.

The second module of the Tamnougalt Spatial Series holds to the same strict cubic volume of 7 × 7 × 7 metres, but engages its site through cantilever rather than infill—projected boldly over the rugged threshold between hillside and palm grove. Where the first module inserts itself into the density of the ksar, this counterpart negotiates climate, mass and void from an elevated, engineered steel trestle foundation suspended above the landscape.

The material strategy bridges industrial raw honesty with regional context, employing textured cast concrete, Corten steel framing and local lime plaster juxtaposed with rich mahogany and oak louvres that act as contemporary solar screens (mashrabiya). Across panoramic observatories and open-air decks, the project delivers a cohesive study on tectonic permanence suspended above the palm grove.

Conceived for the international trade fair context at IFEMA Madrid, this exhibition pavilion explores the dynamics of ephemeral architecture through modular, sustainable and high-impact spatial design. Developed upon a standard institutional footprint—scaled around 100 to 150 m² with a regulated height envelope between 4 and 6 metres—the intervention reframes Laotian identity and storytelling within a highly functional commercial landscape.

The proposal is articulated around a dry-assembly philosophy to ensure zero-waste rapid installation and full demountability, relying on modular galvanized steel frameworks, slotted aluminum profiles and lightweight tension cables. The interior fit-out features flat-pack, reconfigurable furniture, recycled acoustic composite boards and customized backlit fabric lightboxes, complemented by natural bamboo accents, translucent paper-textured screens and organic tones.

The interior fit-out features flat-pack, reconfigurable furniture, recycled acoustic composite boards and customized backlit fabric lightboxes, adopting a clean, geometric dialogue of local timber veneers, sustainable raw textiles and industrial brushed metal.
